It is a pleasure to welcome you to the City of Garrett, a little City with a big heart.
New residents will need to come by City Hall to request a Certificate of Occupancy Permit. This permit requires an inspection of your home before move in. Fee is $100.
To obtain Water/Sewer/Trash a completed application is required, along with your drivers' license and a copy of your lease or deed.
Water deposit is $85 and Sewer/Trash is $100. All applications and deposits must be completed before Electricity release is made.

Trash is picked up on Friday. All trash must be bagged preferred in closed container . No loose trash- must be bagged. Limit of 8 bags (33 gallon bags) Each additional bag will be charged $1 per bag.

City of Garrett requires all vehicles to have current registration so not to be considered junk/abandoned vehicles. All vehicles must be parked on improved surfaces as per Ordinance 17-193 (See Ordinances for more information)
Animals must be under control at all times as per Ordinance 16-177 (See Ordinances for more information)
